Introduction to Node.JS
Node.JS is a new event-driven platform that incorporates Google's V8 Javascript engine to build really fast event-driven communications. Node.JS is similar in design to and influenced by systems like Ruby's Event Machine or Python's Twisted. Node takes the event model a bit further; it presents the event loop as a language construct instead of as a library. I would like to introduce you to Node.JS and walk you though a few code examples and use cases as well as deploying your first Node.JS application!
